Alfa Romeo Alfasud Sprint 1.5 Veloce 1981

Vin. 05062565. Poillipo Blue with grey cloth interior.

First registered in Australia in September 1981. Imported to the UK from the very dry state of Western Australia in 2020 and registered in the UK in January 2021.

This Sprint Veloce (twin carb. model) is an extremely rare rust free RHD car. The underside is in remarkably good original condition. The interior is extremely clean and tidy. The rear boot liner is all intact as is the boot cover. The car runs and drives as it should.

Since arriving from Australia the car has had a thorough service and some re-commissioning and has been done. The engine oil and filters changed, the carburettors cleaned and overhauled, the ignition components replaced. All fluids have been replaced including coolant, gearbox oil and brake fluid. New front shock absorbers fitted and the lower suspension arm bushes replaced. The original front exhaust section (manifolds) has been replaced with a new mild steel Imasaf section. The period-correct Ansa Sport rear silencer sounds great. The brakes have been extensively services including a new replacement brake master cylinder and handbrake cable. The slightly tired outer headlamps have been replaced with a pair of old stock originals. Replacement battery fitted. A rear fog lamp has been fitted as per UK MOT requirements.
