Lancia Flaminia Touring Convertible Superleggera
Details
A fine example of the rare and elegant Lancia Flaminia Touring Superleggera Convertible, presented in smart overall condition following a prior restoration.
There is no known damage to the aluminium body or steel frame, but various localised repairs have been carried out to rectify the minor scrapes and scratches that have occurred during the last 20 years.
This Flaminia’s most recent maintenance was carried out in July 2021 at 71,105 km, when technicians at Tanc Barratt overhauled the front suspension, the brake master cylinder and fluid reservoir, and the distributor and ignition. The road wheels were also refurbished in the correct cream colour.
While it is exempt due to its age, the car’s last MOT test was conducted on 18 March 2021 at 70,590 km, resulting in a clean pass with no warnings or advisories.
The original owner’s manuals and factory toolkit are included, along with a large lever-arch folder of maintenance invoices, restoration records, factory information, magazine articles and correspondence between previous owners.
This Lancia Flaminia Convertible is a stylish and very usable Italian classic, presented in good working order and in an appealing colour scheme. With some minor attention to its paintwork, this rare Lancia convertible could be brought up to an exceptional standard and would make a fantastic addition to any collection of Italian classics.
